Student Ministries Media

Who We Are

The student ministry is a group of young people who are learning to follow Jesus through some of the most pivotal moments in their lives. Students are confronted with decisions at every corner: is Jesus MY Lord or just my parents' Lord? Is the Bible true? What should I do with my life? Why am I here on earth? Our middle school and high school classes are places where students can have fellowship around God's word and find answers to life's questions with brothers, sisters, and counselors who will love them no matter what.

Coming Up

August 19 - Lake Party

Every year at the end of summer we have a lake party for students to hang out, fellowship, eat food, play games, and preach the gospel.

We will have 2 pontoon boats to take out and cruise around the lake and swimming at the beach. Lunch will be provided. We will be hanging from 1pm until 5pm. Please bring your kids, their friends, the neighbor's kids and let them party with us and hear about the love of Christ. Last year a high school senior shared the gospel and a middle school girl got saved. Amen!! This is not just about swimming, but an avenue for us to reach the hearts of students. With that said, please be partnering with us in prayer. We want to see souls saved while we are kicking it at the Lakewood beach.

The beach is located behind the aquatic park.
4105 NW Lake Dr, Lee's Summit, MO 64064

Bring goggles, towels, change of clothes if you like. We ask that everyone would wear modest swim apparel.

Please feel free to chat with other families to help with ride sharing to and from the event if needed.
