Join us for a fun day on the trail! All ages are welcome and encourage to join in the fun. There is a distance for everyone.

The main entree for lunch will be provided but feel free to bring your own sides, snacks, and drinks. Don’t forget your blankets, lawn chair, games, and/or fishing/walking/cycling gear.

Below are your start time options:
Stay at the Park: Food start time 11:00 am. Drive about 1hr and 20 min from the church of Farrington City Park in Windsor and join us for a picnic. Free play starts at 10:00 am, so come early to make a day of it! We have reserved Shelter B. This is a conservation-stocked lake so we are allowed to fish! Other accommodations include a playground, picnic tables, lots of open space, and a 1-mile trail around the lake to enjoy.
Name your distance: Come for the picnic and cycle out and back however far you want! With the Rock Island trail intersecting the Katy Trail at Windsor your options are endless! You can cycle in the morning and then enjoy lunch restocking all those calories you just burned off, or have a nice lunch to fuel your ride, or do both! There are mile markers (Windsor is at mile 216.2) along the way to give you control to cycle as far as you would like. If you would like to cycle with a group, we are suggesting a 10:30 start time. The trail runs right through the park making it safe for kids! We will have guides there to direct and help with any last-minute bike needs.
21 mile segment: Group start time 10:30. Starts at the Leeton trailhead just south off Hwy 2/Lee St. on N Graham St. Restaurants, groceries, and restrooms are available here if you need them. We will have a pit stop crew at the trailhead if you have questions or need help with your bike! Ride east from the Leeton city trailhead on the Rock Island Trail 10.6 miles out to the Farrington Lake and park. The lake is your turnaround for a total ride of 21.2 miles.
38 mile Segment: Group start time 9:00 am. Starts at the Chilhowee Trailhead, in Chilhowee MO, There is parking just off Pennsylvania Ave, south from Hwy 2 and west from SW 551st rd. There are restrooms at the trailhead and a convenience store on Walnut St if you need one. There will not be a guide or pit stop crew here so make sure you have what you need and your bike is ready to go before you arrive. Ride east on the Rock Island trail to the picnic at Farrington Park for 19.1miles. The lake is your turnaround for a total ride of 38.2 miles.
58 mile Segment: Group start time 8:30 am. Starts at the Medford Trailhead, in Medford MO. There is parking just off SW 1411 west of Hwy 131. There are restrooms at the trailhead. There will not be a guide or pit stop crew here so make sure you have what you need and your bike is ready to go before you arrive. Ride west on the Rock Island trail to the picnic at Farrington Park for 29 miles. The lake is your turnaround for a total ride of 58 miles.
Go crazy!: If you are one of those folks that can’t stand to pass up an epic challenge and want to cycle 93 miles you should arrange for a friend to go with you and start at Pleasant Hill. The round trip from there will be a total of 93.2 miles but you are on your own to arrange start time and group.
