In Genesis 40 we find Joseph in an unlikely position. One would think that he being sold into slavery, wrongfully accused, and sent to prison would need ministering. Instead we find Joseph ministering to others. And giving a message both of redemption and judgement. Here we learn the heart and message of a true minister.

In John 4 we often look over the disciples, who were seeking food in Samaria as Jesus revealed himself to the woman at the well. Today we will consider the disciples, and what it means for us to be ready and able ministers!

Today we will dive back into Genesis 39. Here Joseph teaches what it looks like to be a servant in this world, and how to have victory over temptation.

Today we will wrap up Genesis 37. We'll catch the vantage point from both Joseph and his brother's as they venture from Bethel, to Shechem, and on to Dothan! These places have more significance than we might acknowledge in passing!

Seeking the Presence of the Lord
In 2 Samuel 6 we see David move the ark of the covenant. Here we gain insights on how we ought to seek the presence of the Lord. We learn that good intentions aren’t enough. It doesn’t just matter that we seek God, it matters how we seek God.
