Taking Sides
The disciples tell Jesus they rebuked a man for casting out devils in Jesus' name. Jesus tells them they should not have stopped the man because whoever is not against Jesus is on his side. We examine Biblical principles for dealing with people who may believe different things than we do.
Kids and Servants
The disciples dispute about which of them will be the greatest in the kingdom. Jesus sets a child in their midst to teach that the greatest is the one who will be like a child.
LIFE Testimonies: Arnold and Linda
Arnold and Linda Thomas share their testimonies and answer questions.
Teaching and Hiding
As they travel, Jesus teaches the disciples about his coming death and resurrection. The disciples don't understand what Jesus says to them. This message explores Jesus' teaching methods and how the believer can trust God even when he or she doesn't understand what God is doing or saying.
Prayer, Fasting, and Faith
A man brings his spirit-possessed son to Jesus' disciples for healing, but they cannot heal the boy. Jesus arrives and diagnoses the problem: a lack of faith. Jesus heals the boy and declares the type of spirit he had could only come out by prayer and fasting. We'll discuss faith and it's connection to God's power and to prayer and fasting.
The Transfiguration
Jesus takes Peter, James, and John to the mount and is transfigured before them. God the Father instructs the disciples to hear Jesus. We'll discuss the significance of this event and the importance of spending intimate time with Jesus.
The Lost Life
Jesus asks the disciples, "But whom say ye that I am?" Peter responds they believe He is the Christ. Jesus is pleased with this answer. Soon after this exchange, Peter rebukes Christ for telling of his coming death and resurrection. Jesus rebukes Peter for this response and then Jesus explains that true followers will deny themselves, take up their crosses, and follow Jesus to the death.
Jesus Spits
People bring a blind man to Jesus, who leads the blind man out of the city, spits on his eyes, and heals him. The man first sees men as tress, then Jesus touches him again and he sees men as men. We'll explore Jesus' method of healing and his motivation for healing that way.
LIFE Testimonies: Jon and Marcie
Jon and Marcie Kindler share their testimonies and answer questions.
Sign, Sign, Everywhere a Sign
The Pharisees and Sadducees ask Jesus for a sign, and he rebukes them for their ability to discern the signs of the weather but not the signs that he is the Messiah. We examine signs in the Bible and conclude that our primary responsibility is to understand and apply God's Word.
Here We Go Again
Jesus feeds another large crowd. We examine why Jesus completes this miracle when he fed a large crowd not long before. As Christians, we need continual reminders of God's goodness and provision.
Entering the Battle
We analyze Deuteronomy 20:1-4, using a recent trip to Malawi and Kenya as an example. We'll compare the physical battles to be faced by Israel to the spiritual battles we face as New Testament believers.

We Are Servants and Friends of Christ
God desires for us to be fruitful, and we can be fruitful through abiding in Christ.
John Speaks Truth
“What is truth?” Pilate asks an important question. Today we dive into the scriptures—mainly what John wrote, to answer the question properly.
All Things Well
Jesus heals a deaf, mute man in Decapolis. The testimony of Jesus is that he did all things well. This message explores what it means to live well according to the Word of God.
The One that Remained
Today we look at Jesus' healing of the ten lepers. Christ heals ten lepers and only one of them looks back to Christ to thank him for the healing. We can parallel this to our own salvation and see the need to remember what we were saved from. This should cause us to give thanks and worship just like the one that remained.
