The One that Remained
Today we look at Jesus' healing of the ten lepers. Christ heals ten lepers and only one of them looks back to Christ to thank him for the healing. We can parallel this to our own salvation and see the need to remember what we were saved from. This should cause us to give thanks and worship just like the one that remained.

Jesus explains that no food that enters into a man can defile him, but that evil comes from the heart of man. This sermon examines the role of the law as a schoolmaster to point to Jesus as what the Bible says about food.
Jacob Wrestles with God
In Genesis 32 we find one of the most historic events in the life of a patriarch. Jacob is confronted by the Lord in a match that is a picture of the believer of intense struggle through prayer of one of the hardest seasons in his life. The scripture encourages the believer to a deeper dependence and greater view on God's grace, while also showing us what the true blessing is that Jacob found.
Traditions

To Work, or To Rest?
The Apostles return from their 2x2 trip and tell Jesus about all they have done. Jesus instructs them to get away from the crowd and rest, but the crowd arrives at the retreat site before they do.
