A young man asks Jesus what he must do to inherit eternal life. Jesus replies that he must keep the law, sell all his possessions, and give to the poor. The man goes away sad, and Jesus explains that it will be difficult for the rich to enter the kingdom of God. We explore the goodness of God, the insufficiency of the law and works, and some Biblical truths regarding finances.
Staying F.R.E.S.H. in our FAITH
We need one another in fellowship to exhort and encourage each other daily so that we do not fall into unbelief. Unbelief is more than just doubt—it manifests in self-reliance, legalism, and spiritual exhaustion. When we fail to rest in Christ's finished work, we become weary, discouraged, and ineffective. God desires His people to live in faith, resting in Him, and strengthening one another to remain steadfast.
