In Mark 8:34, Jesus says "...Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me". Christ is worthy of all of these things and more. Jesus gave everything so that we could have eternal life with God our Father; it is our reasonable service to give our life in serving, glorifying, and loving Him in return.
