Main Service Sermons
We Need a Mature Faith
In this sermon, we revisit the importance of accountability in Biblical discipleship. Mature ministers help younger Believers grow in their faith. We also examine how the Judgment Seat of Christ guided Paul’s prayers for the Thessalonians. Are we burdened for our church to grow in love and holiness?
Focus on the Judgment Seat of Christ
In this sermon, we see Paul’s yearning to see the Thessalonians again and prove out their faith. When he receives a good report from his disciple Timothy, he rejoices and thanks the Lord in prayer. By staying focused on the Judgment Seat of Christ in prayer, we resist Satan’s temptations and glorify God with our lives.
Be Thankful
In this sermon, Paul once again thanks the Lord in prayer for the Thessalonians. If we receive the Word of God in faith and choose to suffer with God’s people, then we can look forward to the hope and joy of reward at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
Message to Leaders, pt.3
In this sermon, we further examine Paul’s heart in ministry. We are called to be spiritual fathers and mothers to our disciples. We must lay down our lives loving those we lead in ministry.
Message to Leaders, pt.2
In this sermon, Paul expresses his motherly care for the Believers at Thessalonica. Are we sacrificially loving our disciples with the same gentleness and grace?
Message to Leaders, pt.1
In this sermon, we begin our exposition of 1 Thessalonians. We are introduced to Paul’s missionary team and his pattern of ministry. We are called to win souls, make disciples, then equip and send proven leaders to do the same!
The Word and Power of the Gospel
In this sermon, we further examine the powerful testimony of the disciples at Thessalonica. In the midst of persecution, the Thessalonians were faithful ministers of the Word of God through the power of the Holy Ghost.
A Minister's Goals, pt.2
In this sermon, Paul is praying and thanking God for the Thessalonians’ “work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Th. 1:3).
A Minister's Goals, pt.1
In this sermon, we begin our exposition of 1 Thessalonians. We are introduced to Paul’s missionary team and his pattern of ministry. We are called to win souls, make disciples, then equip and send proven leaders to do the same!
Survey - 1 Thessalonians
In this sermon, we examine the historical context of the book of 1 Thessalonians. After departing from Philippi, Paul and his missionary team arrive in Thessalonica, preaching the gospel in synagogue and making disciples. When the Jews of the city stir up persecution, Paul must flee to Berea. He writes this letter to the new church of the Thessalonians that he left behind.
