Standing Fast and Striving Together
Standing for the Lord is easy when we can gather together for services and huge conferences, but will we stand fast in the mind of Christ when the circumstances are more difficult? Paul’s charge for the Philippians is that they would be unified in the faith of the gospel. Will we stand fast and strive together?
At That Time
In the book of Deuteronomy, Moses is preaching to the children of Israel, reminding them of God’s faithfulness in their liberation from Egypt and journey through the wilderness. The Difference Between Martha and Mary
The stories of Martha and Mary teach us the difference between serving Christ in the flesh and worshipping Christ at his feet. It is easy for us to become careful and troubled about many things and to protest when things don’t go the way we want them to. Instead, we ought to approach the Lord in humility, brokenness, and reverence.
