MBT PushPay Migration

For the past several years, Midtown Baptist Temple has been using the Church Community Builder (CCB) software (also known as myMBT) for a lot of the administration aspects of the church.  It functions as the church’s membership database, church-wide calendar, maintains our giving records, event registrations, meeting schedules, processes all the online giving and more.

Recently, Church Community Builder was acquired by another company, Push Pay. As a result of this acquisition, Push Pay is going to be able to offer MBT many new streamlined and efficient changes to the church management platform.

One of the first changes is the new Push Pay platform that will be processing all the MBT online giving payments.  This is for those who currently have “active” recurring giving transactions scheduled in myMBT.  As a part of this transition, we will need to migrate our scheduled recurring giving from CCB to PushPay.  This will have us setting up our recurring giving transactions in the new PushPay system and then stopping/ canceling them in CCB.

To guide everyone in this process, we have attached a step-by-step instructional video put together by our CCB/ PushPay Administrator, Alex Vargas, as well as a document with detailed instructions.
