In the latter half of Matthew 9, we see that faith is seeing beyond your circumstances according to God’s will.

Once again, Jesus silences the religious rulers who are relentless on trying to catch Him in his words. Through the dialogue, we learn a great deal about God’s desire to see fruit for His Son’s inheritance.
