There is a stark contrast between Jesus’ ministry to the Samaritans and the neighboring Galileans. Through the study of John 4, we see that no matter the ministry method, God ultimately desires for all to come to belief in His son Jesus.

The Father reveals the identity of Jesus to the disciples – the anointed Messiah. It is during this pivotal time of ministry and teaching that they learn about Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection, along with their own cross to bear if they were to continue as His disciples.
