The Father reveals the identity of Jesus to the disciples – the anointed Messiah. It is during this pivotal time of ministry and teaching that they learn about Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection, along with their own cross to bear if they were to continue as His disciples.

Jesus openly rebukes Israel’s religious rulers for their hypocrisy and prioritization of man’s traditions over God’s law. As his ministry temporarily shifts to the Gentiles, we see both a revelation of God’s heart for all nations and the foreshadowing of the church being composed of believing Jews and Gentiles.

We take a look at the final structural part of the tabernacle plans. The court is made by the hangings around the perimeter of the Tabernacle proper. We see the purpose and application of this to our lives.

In this message we review a bit of the structure from the last message and then focus on the differences between the curtain and the vail and the spiritual implications of the construct, including the pillars upon which they hang.

In a shortened message, we look at the structure of the Tabernacle and see how it reflects a strong intimacy within the trinity. We also see the picture of how man is empowered to be part of the body, fitly joined.

As Jesus’ ministry continues to spread throughout Israel, we see God’s mighty work both hindered by opposition and unbelief, and also multiplied through the sending of the Apostles. Ultimately, His ministry endures amidst difficulties on multiple fronts.

There are many obstacles to life, including danger, demons, disease and ultimately, death. Jesus demonstrates His authority over each of these four areas to give empirical evidence to eyewitnesses of His divine nature.

In response to Israel’s rejection, Jesus begins teaching in parables, to both conceal and reveal the truths of the kingdom of God.
